MARWOOD
In 2010 I founded Marwood as a concept to reimagine the classic neck-tie and create an accessory with character and charm. This hit the sartorial trend and menswear buzz at the time and the debut collection sold at B Store, Tomorrowland and Edifice. Soon Marwood ties were available to buy worldwide at stores including Isetan, Barneys NYC, Beams, Dover Street Market, Liberty, Maxfield LA, Mr Porter and Selfridges among many others. The product range grew to include our infamous mohair socks, still a firm favourite with customers and scarves and pocket squares. A thoughtful making process has always been an important part of the brand, building long-standing relationships with the best UK mills and factories.
The wholesale business closed in 2015 and Marwood continued to sell via our online shop whilst I explored other design opportunities and took on the role of Creative Director for Turnbull and Asser for four years. Now, in 2023 the brand is being reinvigorated with an expanded product range and a delve in to textiles and homeware.
